A quick note about .jp domains
Since they were deregulated in 2001, it is now possible for any person or company outside Japan to easily obtain a .jp domain. There is no longer a need to be incorporated in Japan for .jp domains. Purchasing and selling .jp domains are done in real time. There is no processing delay. The registry is now automated and allows instant registrations.

Getting started
There are two methods of registration that we offer:
- An API
- An on-line registration interface.
We tend to suggest that our resellers begin using our on-line registration interface then move to our API only if volumes increase. There are exceptions to these guidelines, so please contact us if you have additional questions.
To open an account is free. The steps are as follows:
- Sign and return our re-seller agreement with your credit card.
- We will create an account and send you the username and password.
- You can then begin registering names, or begin to implement the API.
